Layouts are graphed out on paper using scaled proportions (needing math). Trim/mouldings are all measured in linear feet. Windows are measured for window treatments using different formulas depending on what treatment you are applying to it. Flooring measurements are in squared units.

I love interior design. Since I am not in college yet i can’t take classes on it. When i am bored i love just coloring outfits but now i am looking for rooms in houses or things like that…so does anyone know any websites that have to do with printable coloring pages of rooms in a house or interior design printable coloring pages…i havent been able to find much on google but if anyone knows any websites, they would be much appreciated! i need to learn to draw housing interiors and i am horrible at drawing…please help…any suggestions??

I’m sorry but are you refering to interior design, creating floor plans (architectural drafting) or perspective drawing?

By the sound of it I’m assuming that you want to learn how to draw the inside of a romm (like a kitchen) at an angle to show countertops, cabinets, appliances, flooor tiles and light fixtures all in one drawing.

I did sell Home interiors for about 4 years. I made decent money on it, but all in all I would not do it over again. You have to carry around big heavy bulky items (pictures, sconces, etc) and make up the groupings. The more you have the more you sell. And you do have to pay for hostess items, etc. I have been in Direct sales for apprx 15 years and 4 of those were with home interiors. I am looking at going back to school and would like to get into something like this and I guess I thought they were the same. Please explian the difference.

interior design is the design of the space…ie,,, wall placement… window placement,,, partitions,, etc..

interior decoration is the decoration of the space…

10 days to 2 weeks, that’s roughly how long it took for me to actually get a hold of my new iqama when i first came to work here.
