Depends on the time of the year. Right now is the perfect time to shop for outdoor things, lighting, garden items, whimsical things I’ll enjoy when I’m out in the yard. In the winter I prefer to buy things that make my home a more comfortable, relaxed place to be in.

Selling Home Interiors did you make any money at all? i know its 45% disc but does home interior sell alot? Im currently selling avon but i really dont like it because they always run out of stuff and you really dont make money off avon. (also im not looking for a living income im already employed full time but im just looking for extra money and a discount on stuff for my home) thanks a lot :D

I am a decorating consultant with home interiors and the money that you make is between 45-50%. Im not really a sales person but the items sale themselves. Most people love buying the candles and there are even fundraisers that you can do as well. This is a great time of the year to join the business because of the holidays and I have even started making gift baskets.

I like scented candles. I find Home Interiors highly over-rated and overpriced. I find it ofensive when I go to my friend’s house and she leaves the HI jars out so people know she spent more than the walmart brand, find it very low-class. I know you can get 10 walmart candles for less than 6 bucks (vanilla is one of my favs), since they’re about the same quality. I found some great ones at a Michael’s craft store for a buck each in delicious vanilla, mango and watermelon. I really enjoy watching them burn, so having them in a jar beats the purpouse for me… otherwise, I’d just place a scent sheet on my ac filter. 110 bucks for 25 candles a bargain? I doubt it.

Check out the Home Interiors website? Check out ebay too.

Where would you suggest promoting my home based business? I am a decorating consultant with Home Interiors and gifts trying to book brochure parties and fundraisers. I am just trying to figure the best place to promote for very inexpensive. Does anyone have any ideas?

Well it all depends on where you heart lies. Where your passion is etc. That’s what makes one business better then the other for the individual. Everyone’s home based business is obviously going to be best to them. What you feel is best might be different.
I created a blog on my 360 page. Obviously the one I’m involved in is the best one for me. That’s why I’ve been with the company for 6 years and so has my husband. To us it was more practical and everyone uses the products and services every single day. I didn’t want something that people had to constantly order to make money. I wanted something that came automatically. I didn’t want something that I had to have boxes of things I was selling all over the house. Just something simple with a huge income opportunity that I could tackle. And did! To me, this was best.
There’s other business opportunities on my 360 page that you might think is best for you. I’m not you, therefor I can’t tell you what is best for you. You’ll have to make that decision. But if you’d like some ideas, you can take a look at my 360 page and take a look at half a dozen different business’s.
Good luck!@
