I just bought a new house that’s BARE! I need help decorating it, but I don’t have a creative bone in my body? I love asian, contemporary, modern styles! Does anyone know of any interior design programs that utilizes actual rooms for class projects? Plus I’m broke now that I bought a new house. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! I also need landscaping ideas!!!

I think your best bet is to write a show like HGTV, and see if they have a program that might use you as a TV showcase.

I’m looking for a free online interior design site, where you can like… drag and drop furniture into a room to see how it would look, maybe be able to change the way the room itself is constructed so it looks more like our house… Does anyone know of a site like this?

I’m taking an interior design class at school and we used the program on the IKEA website. Depending on the rooms you want to plan, you can use the program to insert IKEA products into your custom designed room. There also are a few for kitchens and stuff on the HGTV website.

I love interior design. Since I am not in college yet i can’t take classes on it. When i am bored i love just coloring outfits but now i am looking for rooms in houses or things like that…so does anyone know any websites that have to do with printable coloring pages of rooms in a house or interior design printable coloring pages…i havent been able to find much on google but if anyone knows any websites, they would be much appreciated! Pretty much about the same time that Central A/C and heating system came into place. In the old days you only heated or cooled the rooms you needed with space heaters or window A/C units. The Central units needed to circulate the air in all the house…so doors that were closed caused problems. Most of this happened in the late 40’s early 50’s.

its pretty much around 5000 sw ft, circular stair case with a bridge overlooking gr8 room, and an atrium window over the front door. it has a mountain view as well. I had two concerns rlly. one- is this a good plan? laundry room down stairs is ok? also- i plan on having 4 br upstairs so is it necessary to make a guest bedroom next ro the dining room or something like that? ( i dnt personally rlly need it). also in regards to the gr8 room, im not sure wther to have the whole back wall windows so u can see starght thru the house from the exterior front atrium window and put the fire pl on the adjacent wall. but if that were the case- wheere would i put the entment center and tv? i dnt rlly want it above the f Pl . how can i set up that room? also, should i have it in the back wall centered, then u cnt see throuh? the kitchen window bays out fyi thnks
also, if you have pics of any good exteriors- plz post!
well the rooms are pretty big. the great room will be bigger than 20×20 i think aroung 25X23 or something like that. i cant remember

For anyone to give you any useful advice I think one would need a more accurate plan or at least a scaled sketch and more than one orientation. While this is all familiar to you the rest of us have little idea of what you are dealing with.

Is there something to create a virtual picture/diagram of my room layouts and move furniture around virtually? To scale would be nice, but anything similar would be helpful! A "drag and drop" programme, instead of physically moving furniture around to try out different layouts. Not autocad which is for architects – the house is up and fixed, just need to get the right furniture layouts to maximise the space inside. Thank you!

I want to redocorate a few rooms in my house and would like to use a recent grad of interior design that wants to get some experience, build up their portfolio and save me some $. Is their anyone that you would reccomend?
