Do I use the County Recorder or what site to find a house property interior layout?

Few if any states/county’s provide that information. It’s really none of their or anyone else business. At most they provide is livable sq feet and maybe number of levels.

Many states actually DO report this information online. Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, for instance, give access to the assessor’s map through the SDAT website.

If your state doesn’t have this service, you might have to go to your county or city courthouse. The county seat will be the place to start. Call first and ask if you need an appointment to search the assessor’s books for the property plat you need. If not, just go.

It is a matter of public record, so you are entitled to see the information. You might have to pay a small charge, usually less than $10. Be sure you have the specific address, too.

Sorry to tell you but even though some states do have thi information online, since you have not found it I am guessing you are not in a designated state you will have to do this manually by either asking the owner for blueprints or either getting an architect or even doing this yourself in your spare time.
