How to get the vinegar smell out of leather car interiors?
27.January, 2010
I had a glass bottle of vinegar in my car and it combusted recently this winter. that was about a month ago and my car still wreaks like vinegar, I have tried lysol, febreze, regular car cleaning products, and nothing is working help please!
I’ve also tried ozium and I ventilated it when I was driving one day.
You don’t have to try to get it out. Just ventilate the car. Keep the windows open and let wind pass over the area.
The smell of vinegar will dissipate after a few days. I have used gallons of vinegar sprayed in an attic to kill mold and it smelled like vinegar for a week or so and then gradually went away completely.

Go to an auto parts or the automotive dept at walmart and get a can of original scent OZIUM Air Sanitizer. I use this for all odors.
